GEARING UP FOR CLASSES
We've been taking your suggestions to heart and put together a lineup of classes that we're sure you'll find useful and interesting. Drop by the shop or check back for dates as they are confirmed.

1. Basic Socks basic sock in Tresko yarn Basic Knitting Experience
		Techniques Learned: using 5 DPN (double pointed needles) long tail cast on knit - purl ribbing knitting in the round turn heel graft toe
2 nights of instruction Date: January 20 & 27 Time: 7-9:30pm Cost: $40.00 + supplies Teacher: Becky Duncan

2. Basic Hat Very Beginner / No Experience
		Techniques Learned: using circular needles, cast on, knit and purl, K2tog decrease, read a pattern, finishing off.
2 nights of instruction Date: January 28 & February 4 Time: 7pm-9:30pm Cost: $40.00 + supplies Teacher: Michelle Sicotte

3. Felted Mittens Basic Knitting Experience
		Techniques Learned: knitting with 5 double pointed needles M1(make one) M1L(make one left slanting) M1R(make one right slanting) short rows with W&T (wrap & turn) Hand out with felting instructions.
2 nights of instruction Date: January 26 & February 2 Time: 7pm-9:30pm Cost: $40.00 + supplies Teacher: Michelle Harper

4. Basic Mittens Basic Knitting Experience
		Techniques Learned: knitting with 5 double pointed needles Make a proper thumb gusset M1L(make one left slanting) M1R(make one right slanting) Decreasing.
2 nights of instruction Date: February 1 & 8 Time: 7pm-9:30pm Cost: $40.00 + supplies Teacher: Melissa Morrisey

5. Reversible Cable Hat Intermediate Knitting Experience
		Techniques Learned: Provisional cast on Simple cable C2F SSK decreasing
2 nights of instruction Date: February 9 & 16 Time: 7pm-9:30pm Cost: $40.00 + supplies Teacher: Melissa Morrisey

6. Felted Clogs Experienced Knitter
		Back by popular demand. Techniques Learned: knitting with circular needles, short rows with W&T (wrap & turn), knitted cuff, 3 needle bind off, hand out on how to felt.
2 nights of instruction Date: February 11 & 18 Time: 7pm-9:30pm Cost: $40.00 + supplies Teacher: Michelle Harper

7. Lace scarf Basic Knitting Experience

All classes are held at Knit Now. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Payment at the time of registration will guarantee your seat should the class fill up and a waitlist is necessary. Don’t be disappointed - register now.
